Summary of the talk: Babcock Smith House was one of the sites where we collected data on RI quilts. Linda Welters will present the history of quilts in Rhode Island based on the research gathered by the Rhode Island Quilt Documentation Project. Technological developments as they affect quilt styles will be discussed.
