Our introductory Buddhism 1.0 aims to be a lucid and helpful overview of this ancient path that is both practical and inspirational. 1.0 has been designed with the intention to illuminate the path for beginners as well as for those who need a refresher course. It will be only for 2 sessions over a 2 month period.

While this course emphasizes the fundamental Buddhist teachings as a life philosophy, Buddhism cannot be divorced from its practice; therefore, students will be introduced to mindfulness, the art of stopping and cultivating joy, letting go, the practice of compassionate listening, and sitting meditation.
