Remember the glory days of college sailing! We know you can talk to the talk, but can you walk the walk!? This Instructional Series offers the perfect time to show us your moves. Series includes organized practice sessions with pre and post-practice debriefs.

Enrollment limited to 12 sailors.

MxCC Classic Golf Tournament to be Held June 1

Lyman Orchards Golf Club, 70 Lyman Rd., Middlefield, CT
The 10th annual MxCC Classic Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, June 1, at Lyman Orchards Golf Club in Middlefield. This popular golf tournament is presented by the Middlesex Community College Foundation, Inc. to benefit student scholarships and programs at Middlesex Community College. Fee ($140 per player) includes greens fees, cart, driving range, continental breakfast, grab-n-go lunch, and social hour/buffet dinner after golf. There will be a drawing, along with prizes for long-drive, closest to pin, closest to the line, and hole-in-one contest. Pawcatuck Lions 5K Road Race & 2-Mile Walk

The Pawcatuck Lions Club 11th annual 5K Road Race is Saturday, June 2 which includes a 2-mile walk. The event starts with a short kids run at 9:45 AM and the 5K and 2-mile walk at 10:00 from Donahue Park behind C.C. O'Brien's Pub, 8 Mechanic St., Pawcatuck. The course runs down Mechanic Street along the Pawcatuck River. Prizes given for division winners and a raffle included to help raise funds. Online entry fee is $15 and day of $18. All proceeds will benefit the local community.
