YMCA hosts 30th annual Mystic River Valley Triathlon
The Ocean Community YMCA, Mystic Branch will host the 30th annual Mystic River Valley Triathlon on Sunday, June 14.
This race consists of a half-mile swim off Williams Beach into the Mystic River, followed by a 14.4-mile bike ride through the streets of Mystic, ending with a 3-mile run through Mason’s Island. A picnic with food, music, refreshments and awards finish off the day. Race-day registration begins at 7 a.m. with a start time of 8 a.m.
The Mystic YMCA is at 1 Harry Austin Dr., Mystic. Participants can register on the Ocean Community YMCA website, directly at one of the Ocean Community YMCA’s three branches or on www.active.com. Triathlon race day shirts will be given to the first 200 registrants.
