Music and ice cream at Avery-Copp House

The historic Avery-Copp House hosts an afternoon of song and sweets on Sunday.

On the last day of this holiday weekend, the riverfront Groton site highlights a performance by chanteyman, raconteur and local mainstay Geoff Kaufman. He'll offer up a series of tunes reflecting maritime and naval history.

And, in addition to listening to Kaufman sing, folks can dive into a Ben & Jerry's Sundae Bar.
