Paddington Bear to visit Stonington Free Library

The Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness is holding Hugs to End Homelessness events around the state in support of its “be homeful” project, which is raising awareness of family homelessness.

The “be homeful” project was started in December 2014 as a joint initiative of CCEH and “spokesbear” Paddington Bear. Paddington and the CCEH will continue their efforts this fall by visiting the state’s libraries to encourage families to get involved with the “be homeful” project.

On Wednesday, Oct. 14, Paddington will visit the Stonington Free Library from 6 to 7 p.m. During the event, families can learn how Paddington’s story is helping to end homelessness, and kids can have their photos taken with Paddington, and their favorite personal bear.
