Auditions for “A Skull in Connemara” by Martin McDonagh will be held on Monday, Aug. 1, and Tuesday, Aug. 2, at The Norwich Arts Center/Donald Oat Theater, 60 Broadway in Norwich from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Actors are asked to prepare a monologue and bring a current acting resume. Actors also will be asked to read portions of the play. Rehearsals will begin in late August, with performances from Oct. 21 to 23 and 28 to 30. The play requires our adult actors ages 25 to 70, and cast members will be required to perform with West Ireland accents. Coaching will be available, but any previous work with accents or dialects will be a plus.
