Well, this’ll be interesting. Al Franken, once a “Saturday Night Live” fixture and now a U.S. senator, is not short on opinions — and, per his earlier career, he can present those views with a wry comic touch. He’ll be in New Haven Sunday to promote his new book, “Giant of the Senate.” R.J. Booksellers is presenting the program, which will feature a discussion between Frank and WNPR’s Colin McEnroe.
