All aboard for annual Holiday Train Show

The 21st annual Holiday Train Show exhibit is open for the season at the Connecticut River Museum in Essex.

Steve Cryan will showcase his trains, new scenery and other surprises in a 26-foot model train layout. Visitors can find a scavenger list of various objects hidden within the settings. Youngsters can get hands-on experience at the expanded American Flyer and Lionel train layout designed for toddler viewing. The show runs through Feb. 17 and is open daily Tuesday through Sunday.

Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, $5 for children age 6-12, free for children 5 and younger. Connecticut River Museum is located at 67 Main St. and may be reached at (860) 767-8269.
