    High school lacrosse: Old Lyme girls rout Morgan 17-8

    Old Lyme - Sydney Cowell scored five goals to lift Old Lyme High School past Morgan, 17-8, in a Shoreline Conference girls' lacrosse game Thursday afternoon.

    Lauren Quaratella and Maggie Berger added three goals apiece while Mary Bolles and Catie Quaratella each had two goals for the Wildcats (2-0, 2-0).

    Old Lyme goalie Hannah Guenther had 11 saves. 

    In other games:

    • Kamryn Grace and Kathleen Kelly each had four goals while Lulu Potter had two goals and an assist in Norwich Free Academy's 11-7 win over Woodstock Academy in the Eastern Connecticut Conference Large Division. Mackenzie Walsh also scored for the Wildcats (2-2, 2-2) and Christina Konstantinidis had 10 saves. 

    Boys

    • Ryan Reuling had five goals and two assists as Fitch rolled to a 9-4 victory over Ledyard in the ECC Large Division. Luke Letellier added two goals and two assists for the Falcons (2-2, 2-2) while Matt Scahill scored twice for the Colonels (0-4, 0-3) and Nick Schultz added a goal and an assist.

    • Pat Egan had five goals and three assists, leading Bacon Academy to a 16-3 win over St. Bernard/Wheeler in an ECC Small Division game. Jayson Bliven scored twice and Tim Bouchard had two assists for St. Bernard/Wheeler (0-3, 0-3).

    • Old Lyme lost to Morgan in a Shoreline Conference game, 11-6. Jacob Fenton had three goals and two assists and George Doll made seven saves for Old Lyme (1-1).

    • Mike Hawkins scored four goals as Glastonbury cruised to a 13-3 nonconference win over host East Lyme. Aaron Dixon, Dillon Jennings and Kyle MacDonnell each scored a goal for the Vikings (3-1) while Erik Aarsand and Mason Pagan had assists.

    • Michael Beltran had four goals and one assist to lead Waterford past Montville 10-2 in the ECC Small Division. Billy Barrs added three goals and an assist for the Lancers (3-1, 3-1) while Logan Bowdish added two goals and one assist. Tyler Price had one goal and one assist for the Indians (0-3, 0-3).

    • Kyle Ton contributed five goals and four assists for NFA in a 16-6 win over Woodstock in the ECC Large. Logan Morin had six goals and two assists while Jaedon Brown had four goals and Ben Thompson added four assists for the Wildcats (3-0, 3-0).
