    NFA's Cebria Outlow to play basketball at CCSU

    Cebria Outlow, a two-sport star at Norwich Free Academy, has commited to play basketball at Central Connecticut State University and will sign her national letter of intent to play for the Blue Devils on Tuesday, Nov. 24.

    "It's nice to see how hard work has paid off for Cebria," NFA girls' basketball coach Bill Scarlata said in a statement released by NFA. "She has been a great asset to the NFA basketball program.

    Outlow, The Day's 2014-15 All-Area Girls' Basketball Player of the Year, averaged 17 points and 7.8 rebounds as a junior and was named Most Valuable Player of the Eastern Connecticut Conference tournament.

    The 5-foot-9 Outlow is also an All-ECC performer in volleyball and holds seven varsity letters between the two sports. Her brother Marcus plays football at Boston College.
