    Simple expectations, but history's complex

There are people in this country who think 50 years of the Civil Rights Act is enough to make all people equal. That would explain the Supreme Court's recent decision, along with state guns laws and voting rights acts. They are equating 50 years of minimal help to hundreds of years of discrimination. They also want minorities to fight harder to become equal.

Thanks to modern technology, which gives some instant gratification, they think, if the minorities want equality, as guaranteed by our Constitution, they could do it rapidly with roadblocks. I am afraid doing it that way without help will create anger and hatred.
