I read with interest Dr. Charles Krauthammer's assessment of the president's response to the attacks in Paris, "Obama: Charlie who? POTUS ignores reality," (Jan. 17). He derided the president for lacking a grasp on reality. Apparently, Krauthammer means the reality the good doctor carries around in his head. He attacked the president for not attending a rally in support of the French; no, he only sent his attorney general to coordinate with French law enforcement and European leaders. He then repeats the "no go zone" lie that has already been refuted in England and France and the focus of well-deserved ridicule.

And someone once said conservatives were incapable of appreciating irony. But I give Krauthammer too much credit, he is merely another right-wing hack bent on attacking the president at all costs.
