Malloy's selective concern suggests his insincerity

    xxxxx

In response to an editorial, "Attack dog Malloy must focus on Connecticut backyard," (April 7), I'm pretty certain that Gov.  Malloy's very public response was self-centered and truly had no value except as an attempt to put himself front and center in what is pretty much a no-lose situation. However, I think Malloy put his foot completely in his mouth in referring to Indiana Gov. Pence as a bigot. If Malloy is going to use that term on a fellow governor, I think Pence showed some class in not referring to Malloy as a hypocrite.

I hope Malloy spends a few hours investigating how much taxpayer money Connecticut spends on goods (computers, computer parts, motor vehicle parts, gasoline, paper, copiers, pencils, and pens) and thousands of other items manufactured in places such as China, Saudi Arabia, or any other country with such a negative record on human rights. I find it amazing how people like Malloy, and organizations such as Angie's List, love to make a name for themselves in situations like this, but in reality, do business on a daily basis with those who are no more worthy than Indiana and Pence.
