These are the reasons why I will support Dan Steward with my vote for First Selectman in Waterford.

1. He works hard to help his constituents and listens carefully to their opinions.

2. He has worked hard to better control town capital expenditures.

3. He has advocated for prudent fiscal management in town government and for providing efficient town services. This has resulted in sustained financial stability for our community.

4. He works to ensure public participation in major financial decisions and projects.

5. He has restored good business practices to Waterford and has encouraged regional cooperation.

6. He has worked for responsible growth in the Waterford and through his efforts brought several new major businesses to Waterford.

7. He has worked to keep our taxes as low as possible. 

I could enumerate many more reasons for supporting Dan. Suffice it to say that he works hard, listens to the people he represents and cares deeply about them. More than anything, however, is trust. I trust him to do what is right for the residents of Waterford and work for the town's best interests.
