Toys 4 tots says thanks a lot

Members of the local Thames River Detachment Marine Corps League recently completed its New London County 2015 Toys 4 Tots campaign and would like to acknowledge the many generous people of New London County. Because of your generosity, 11,916 toys were distributed to 1,986 children from 49 different local non-profit organizations and 12 individual veteran families. Special gratitude goes to Mike's Famous Harley Davidson for hosting our Intake/Distribution Center; Crystal Mall for allowing us to collect toys/monies; and Waterford's Rent-A-Space. In addition to the Detachment members, we were assisted by members of the Three Rivers Young Marines, sailors from Sub Base New London and cadets from the United States Cost Guard Academy.
