Courtney and Blumenthal address student debt

One of the biggest problems confronting our youth is student loan debt. Student loan debt is no longer dischargeable in bankruptcy. There is more student loan debt than credit card debt. Student loan debt now totals at least $1.3 trillion dollars with 40 million Americans in debt peonage.

You can thank the lobbyists for Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Mark Patterson, Timothy Geithner and Robert Rubin, secretary of the treasury and partner in Goldman Sachs for this step backward in developing debt peonage.

Joe Courtney and Richard Blumenthal have both proposed legislation to mitigate the onerous burden of student loan debt peonage, a.k.a “debt slavery.”

U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney and Sen. Richard Blumenthal, both Democrats, are Connecticut’s answer to Vermont’s Bernie Sanders.

I urge voters to vote for Courtney and Blumenthal and thank the Lord that Linda McMahon is not in the U.S. Senate and that her boat "Sexy Bitch" is, hopefully, forever in dry dock.
