Award voting rights to Groton property owners

I am commenting on article, “Non-resident taxpayer says Groton has taxation without representation,” (Nov. 22). The Groton Charter Revision Commission is reviewing the charter and presently if you are actively living in Groton you can vote but if you are here part-time you are not able to vote. I agree that if someone pays property taxes, then they should be allowed to vote. I think people in general do not know that this basic right has been taken away and therefore the committee has not heard many people complain.
