Only bitter Democrats obsess on Trump taxes

I continue to be amazed by those who are fascinated by Donald Trump's tax returns and some tiresome need to see them, “Still trying to get those tax returns,” (Jan. 8). What is it about these returns that bother people and what is going to change once the tax returns are released? These people already hate the fact that Trump got elected. Do they want to be able to point a finger at him and say, "Look, he doesn't contribute to charity? Look, he pays practically no taxes? Look, we were right to hate him?"

    I could care less.

First, any person who employs 29,000 Americans shouldn't have to pay much in taxes anyway. Second, if Trump pays little or no taxes, and he is clean with the IRS, then what is the problem? Blame your tax laws. Trump has already admitted to paying little in taxes, and has stated that the tax laws need to change because the average taxpayer is getting ripped off. What is wrong with taking every deduction you are legally allowed to take as a taxpayer? I do.

Critics should focus on how the federal government wastes our tax dollars, not Trump's taxes.

Fascinating what goes on in the minds of bitter Democrats.
