    Slow-train charm should be preserved

    That we need a costly, high-speed railway makes no sense. Taking a leisurely trip on a train used to be a relaxing adventure. Frequent stops gave passengers views they'd never seen. One's imagination soared. What could be more enjoyable than letting the gentle motions of the train provide your thoughts a chance to dream?
