Surely nobody can find pleasure or satisfaction in the situation of aliens currently residing illegally in our country. What concerns me however is the spurious claim by these individuals that the federal government and its agents are causing it.

With few, if any, exceptions, these people chose to violate the law by entering illegally, well aware of the sanctions prescribed for doing so. To claim the responsibility lies elsewhere would be akin to playing on a railroad track, then blaming the train crew for the inevitable results.

It also bothers me that while these people express wishes to be included among our citizens, so many refuse to become literate in our language. You need not abandon your ethnic culture to embrace ours.
