Provide balance to Collins' vitriolic attacks

And who is David Collins? Frankly his column, “A heartening rally, in the time of Trump,” (May 17), is so one-sided and biased it is tipping over itself. Too bad it just doesn't fall off the page. Nobody would miss it.

The Day should either think of replacing him and his vitriolic tirades or alternate the column space with someone who is less intolerant and less negative.

His "ad hominem" attacks are yellow-press sensationalism. Who cares how many votes a pro-Trump organizer received in a solid-blue community? Collins shows no respect for any organizer who doesn't totally agree with his agenda.

The fact that Trump won the national election and is the president doesn't seem to resonate with Collins. He shows no respect for the office of the president.

Collins seems to malign everybody. Unfortunately for him, respect is reciprocal.
