The fight club in the classroom went on until one or more students took a video of some of the fights that were ongoing. Without this video they might still be fighting. The substitute teacher who allowed this to happen was fired. The change that should be made to the substitute teacher evaluation program is to not allow any relative to evaluate a sub who is related to them.

The staff with the responsibility to supervise this event and others like it should be capable of doing so. To give the staff involved with this incident a suspension with full pay and benefits until who knows when, is downright ridiculous. I implore the Montville Board of Education to stop giving Montville’s educational money to these individuals who would make a laughing stock out of the taxpayers of our town. This has got to stop.
