Liddy Karter of Old Lyme won recognition during the Connecticut Technology Council's annual meeting at the University of Bridgeport.

Karter was cited for her role as executive director for the past four years of Crossroads Venture Group. Karter is stepping down to take on the role of managing director at Enhanced Capital Partners, an asset management firm providing investment capital to small businesses.

CTC awards also went to APS Technology Inc. and John Schuyler, a partner at the accounting firm Marcum LLP.

Among four new board members named to three-year terms at CTC was Charles Scharnagle, chief investment officer of the Mohegan Tribe.
