Caroline Wholean, a senior at Lyme-Old Lyme High School, was selected as one of two recipients of the Fall 2017 Carolyn R. Greenleaf Music Award through the Community Music School. Wholean has been taking piano and violin lessons with the Community Music School for 12 years and also plays clarinet in the high school band and wind ensemble.

The Carolyn R. Greenleaf Music Award gives a semester of private lessons at the Community Music School to two high school students each semester in honor of Greenleaf’s dedication to music and education.
