Eversource's outage map shows crews made progress overnight, but thousands remain without power.

Leading the list are Ledyard, with 3,949 outages, and Stonington, with 3,050 outages. According to the map, Preston, Groton, Salem and North Stonington each have between 1,600 and 1,700 customers without power, too.

Eversource officials said Monday they had brought in more than 200 additional utility crews from Florida, Ohio, Alabama, Tennessee and New York to help with restoration after a storm brought heavy rain and damaging winds to much of the northeast.
