    Making wise choices

Norwich Technical High School students watch two classmates attempt to walk a straight line while wearing disorientation goggles on Thursday, November 16, 2017. Students in the school's junior and sophomore classes heard from alcohol and drug awareness speaker Chris Sandy about the consequences of poor choices around drugs and alcohol and then took turns at simulators and activities that gave them a sense of the experience of being impaired by drugs and alcohol. The program was sponsored by the Connecticut Department of Transportation. (Sean D. Elliot/The Day)
