    Groton Town Democrats to hold caucus Jan. 11

    Groton — The Democratic Town Committee will hold a caucus on Jan. 11 to endorse candidates for the committee and conduct other business.

    The caucus is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Groton Senior Center, 102 Newtown Road. The snow date is Jan. 12 at the same time and place.

    The caucus is open to all registered Democrats in Groton, including those who live in Groton city. Those unsure of whether they are registered Democrats may contact the Groton voter registration office at (860) 441-6650.

    The Democratic Town Committee recruits local Democrats for Town Council, Board of Education and Representative Town Meeting (RTM), and seeks to help elect Democrats at the state and national level. The committee meets monthly starting in February, on the fourth Wednesday of the month, at 7 p.m. in the Groton Senior Center.
