Groton City – The City of Groton Republican Committee will hold a caucus Jan. 15 to endorse candidates for the city committee.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Groton City Municipal Building. The caucus is open to all registered Republicans in Groton City. Those unsure if they are registered Republicans may contact the Groton voter registration office at (860) 441-6650.

The City Republican committee's function is to nominate and elect responsible members of the party to elective office and boards and commissions in the City of Groton government; and to study, investigate and make recommendations upon any major issues, problems and needs affecting the residents of the City of Groton.
