Black Wolves acquire Jordan Hall from Rochester

The New England Wolves acquired Jordan Hall from the Rochester Knighthawks on Friday in exchange for Quinn Powless and Mike Manley.

Hall was the first overall pick in the 2007 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft. He made the 2008 All-Rookie team, was awarded the NLL Sportsmanship Award in 2011 and was an All-Pro second team pick in 2009 and 2010.

Hall had four goals and four assists in four games with the Knighthawks and has 486 career points (167 goals, 318 assists).

"We're extremely excited to welcome Jordan Hall back," Black Wolves assistant general manager Rich Lisk said in a statement released by the team. "He was a key member of this franchise prior to our relocation from Philadelphia and this move really strengthens our left side. Mike and Quinn have done a great job for us, but this is a move that made sense for what we are trying to build."

Powless was drafted in the first round of the 2014 NLL Entry Draft by the Black Wolves with the eighth overall pick. He missed all but three games as a rookie due to a knee injury and had four points and one goal in four games this season. Manley is currently on the injured reserve list and has not played this season.

New England returns to action on Sunday with a 3 p.m. game against the Toronto Rock at Mohegan Sun Arena.
