    Competitive crawlers compete for Diaper Derby honors

    Samantha Barret, of Groton tries to coax her 11-month-old son, Parker, forward as children under 12 months old and their families compete in the third annual Simon Malls of New England Diaper Derby at Crystal Mall in Waterford . The derby was held as part of a larger baby fair with vendors from local and national businesses along with entertainment and food for the participants.

Frechette was actually upset over the fact that her mom Kim had to take away her pizza for the race, but after a slow start Frechette took home a trophy for her 2nd place finish.
