Suggested master plan for Camp Harkness to be presented at meeting

Waterford — The Connecticut Family Support Network and the Camp Harkness Fund are hosting a meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. April 22 at Camp Harkness to give the public a chance to meet newly appointed state Department of Developmental Services Commissioner Morna Murphy and learn about the suggested master plan for the camp.

Murphy will listen to concerns and answer questions from individuals with disabilities and their families. DDS staff will present the plan for long-term development of the camp, including improvements and opportunities for community involvement.

Registration is required and free child care is available to those who register by April 17. To register, call (860) 443-7818.
