    Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts confers degrees

    Old Lyme — Twelve graduates received Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees and one received a post-baccalaureate certificate from Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts on Saturday.

    Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts is a college of the University of New Haven. Its mission is to educate aspiring artists through a rigorous studio curriculum rooted in figurative and representational art.

    BFA degrees were awarded to:

    Samantha Amoroso, Greenlawn, N.Y.; Kyle Caspers, Woodbury, Minn.;Adam Chamis, Middletown; Alexandra Cox, Fort Myers, Fla.; Elyssa Drainville, Rockville, R.I.; Morteza Khakshoor, Norwich; Jaroslav Kosmina, Middletown; Ashley Lockwood, Colchester; Sarah Meade, Norwich; Madalena Noyes, Greenville, Md., Kathleen Sheehan, West Haven; Trevonne Walker, Brooklyn, N.Y.

    A post-baccalaureate certificate was conferred on Alyson Maderson-Quinlog, Essex.
