New London Democrats looking for council, school board candidates

New London -- The Executive Board of the New London Democratic Town Committee will interview residents this month interested in being on the Democratic Party slate for the upcoming November election.

The Executive Board will recommend a slate of candidates for City Council and Board of Education to the town committee caucus which will take place at the Senior Center at 6:30 p.m. on July 21.

A primary election, if necessary, will take place on Sept. 16.
