New London — Police said they arrested a 30-year-old city resident on Saturday morning for shouting anti-Semitic remarks at members of a synagogue on Ocean Avenue.
City police said they arrested the man while he was yelling to at least two people at 9:20 a.m. Saturday.
Police were conducting surveillance of the area after receiving several complaints in recent weeks that a motorcyclist was shouting anti-Semitic remarks.
Travor Blize, of 14 Park St., No. 4, was charged with two counts of breach of peace and operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
He is being held on a $6,000 bond.
Police said an arrest warrant is being prepared for the earlier reported incidents.
