Waterford — Roadway rehabilitation on Dayton Road will begin Friday.

According to a news release from the first selectman's office, traffic will be delayed and finding alternate routes is suggested.

The first stage of the work by the town's contractor, The Gorman Group, is expected to take about a week. Then, in three to four weeks, the initial work will be followed by another day or two of paving.

Work on Douglas Lane will be continuing through the fall and early winter.

Lamphere Road is going to be completed within the next two weeks and work will begin on Fargo Road by the end of this week. Paving of Fargo Road is planned for next week.
