Waterford High School Class of 2012 member Samantha Autencio won first place in the Florida Associated Press Broadcasters 2016 radio and television contest April 9 in Orlando.

Autencio, a senior documentary production major at Flagler College in St. Augustine, won the contest with her film “Murphy,” which told the story of her best friend Susan Murphy Stidham, another Flagler student who has a rare lung disease.
