Areas of Old Lyme to be sprayed Tuesday for mosquitoes

Old Lyme — The town is notifying residents that areas in town will be sprayed for mosquitoes Tuesday beginning at 7:30 p.m.

According to a notice posted on the town website, the following areas will be treated: Finnegan Farm Lane, Haywagon Drive, Dogwood Drive, Manor Estates, Cypress Circle, Salt Meadow Lane, Beechwood Lane, Sandlewood Lane, Robbins Avenue, Prospect Street, Hemlock Circle, Tyler Street, Center Beach Avenue, West End Drive, Clifton Street, Hawk's Nest Road, Avenue A and Liberty Street in Hawk's Nest Beach.

The notice states that residents should keep windows closed, keep children's and pets' toys inside, and avoid being outside during the time period.
