    Readers share their garden photos

    Eileen Tedford of Uncasville has a garden bursting with flowers, including lilies and gooseneck loosestrife, where she found this swallowtail butterfly.

    From towering tomato plants to beautiful butterfly bushes, there is no shortage of greenery in southern New London County this year. Here’s a sampling from our readers.

    Rachael Perkins of Waterford took this photo of her boyfriend, Paul Donovan, watering his very first garden. “I am so proud of him,” she said. “He gives it so much love and attention.”
    Chick Barberi of Waterford with his harvest, complete with squash of all kinds and lots of garlic.
