Flock Theatre commemorates the burning of New London

Malcom Cameron, right, shouts his last words as he and Vito Teter, 12, center, and Erik Teter, left, of Flock Theatre, dressed as colonial soldiers in 1781, turn to leave the council chambers after interrupting the New London city council meeting, Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 to announce that Benedict Arnold has invaded New London. Mayor Passero and Flock Theatre conspired to have the actors barge into the meeting during his Mayor's report as a surprise for the council in commemoration of the anniversary of Arnold's burning of New London on Sept. 6, 1781. Flock Theatre's fourth annual Burning of Benedict Arnold Festival will be Sept. 23. (Dana Jensen/The Day)
