Salvation Army, Groton Town police to host toy drive this weekend

Groton — The Salvation Army, in cooperation with the Groton Town Police Department, will host a fill-the-truck toy drive this weekend in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart at 150 Gold Star Highway.

The toy drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The public is encouraged to donate unwrapped gifts, such as video games, and winter coats for kids. Anyone who cannot get to Wal-Mart this weekend can drop off donations at the Groton Town Police Department.
