Salem resident troopers collecting toys for kids

The town of Salem and its two resident troopers will be collecting new, unwrapped toys to distribute to local children in need from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Salem Marketplace, 20 Hartford Road.

Troopers Christopher Pariseau and Luke Larue will be at Salem Marketplace to collect toys for kids up to age 16 to bring back to Troop K in Colchester, where they will be distributed to children in Salem and the other towns that Troop K covers.

Donations of gift cards and money also can be brought straight to Troop K at 15A Old Hartford Road, Colchester.
