Community forum in Mystic Tuesday on talking to kids about drugs

Stonington -- Stonington Human Services and the Stonington Prevention Council will sponsor a program in which a cognitive psychologist will discuss how parents can talk to their kids about drugs on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mystic branch of the Ocean Community YMCA.

The talk is also open to grandparents, teachers, administrators, community leaders, and counselors. Information will be also be presented about drug trends, how to have an ongoing conversation with children and teens about drugs and what to do if a child is already using drugs.

The speaker is Alicia Farrell, a cognitive psychologist, professional speaker and founder of Clearview Consulting.
