Stonington — The town’s Planning Department, along with the organization Land for Good, will hold a free workshop on Monday for landowners interested in making their land available to farmers.

The workshop will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m at the LaGrua Center in the borough.

The announcement of the workshop states that farmers are looking for land to rent, ranging from small vegetable plots to land for livestock or crops. The workshop is designed to help property owners understand their land’s potential for farming and what goes into a good farming arrangement.
