    Lyme-Old Lyme scores in Shoreline Arts Alliance show

    Thanks to strong student submissions, Lyme-Old Lyme High School won the Judy Streeter Outstanding School Award in the Shoreline Arts Alliance’s Future Choices Art Show for the fourth consecutive year.

    Eighteen works by LOLHS students were juried in the show. Junior Emily Archer won first place in the printmaking category, and junior Claudia Mergy won first place in the painting category. Senior Skyelar Shaw won third place in the painting and drawing categories, and senior Margaret Berger won an honorable mention in the sculpture category.

    Penelope Small, Lauren King, Brandon Lee, Sophie Warlitz, Abbie Berger and Natalie Rugg also entered pieces in the competition, which features works from students in 24 towns.
