    Students receive Lions International Service Awards

    Thirty area students in the Shoreline Leo Club were recently honored by Lions International for their community service contributions, totaling more than 2,600 hours in 2016.

    Piper Baine, Christopher Cicchiello, Davon Chen, Conrad French, Sumeet Kadian, Jonathan Keens, Shauna Kim, Daniel Marcolina, Akash Mishra, Jack McDonald, Hannah Vanasse, Sarah White, and Lily Zhong each received the Lions International Young Leaders in Service Gold Certificate for contributing more than 100 hours of community service.

    Andrew Alden, Leah Berke, Erin Collinge, Madison Dow, Anna Fennell, Madison Foerster, Garrett Goodwin, Eric Gu, John Marcolina, Meghan McCauley, Ryan McCauley, Ayush Mishra, Saiyoen Pathman, Sidney Secchiaroli, Gabrielle Villa, Spencer Winakor, and Emily Zhu each received the Lions International Young Leaders in Service Silver Certificate for contributing between 50 and 100 hours of community service.

    All members of the club who received the awards attend East Lyme High School except for East Lyme Middle School student Ayush Mishra and Fitch High School students Daniel and John Marcolina.
