North Stonington Democrats looking for candidates
North Stonington — The Democratic Town Committee is seeking prospective candidates for the upcoming municipal elections in November.
Positions on the boards of education, finance and selectmen, and economic development and planning and zoning commissions will be filled. There are also vacancies on the Zoning Board of Appeals as well as the position of town treasurer.
The Democratic Town Committee will meet July 18 to endorse candidates. Registered Democrats or unaffiliated voters interested in additional information should contact Democratic Town Committee Chairman Mark Donahue at (860) 334-9204 or email at donahuems@comcast.net before the meeting.
