Road resurfacing to begin in East Lyme Tuesday

East Lyme — A contractor is expected to begin resurfacing multiple roads in town on Tuesday.

The contractor will start at 7:30 a.m. with North Bridebrook Road, from 38 N. Bridebrook Road to Route 156, then proceed with additional roads through the following two to three days.

Roads due for resurfacing include Laurel Hill Drive, Laurel Hill Drive South, North Ledge Rock Road, South Ledge Rock Road, Valley View Dive, Echo Road, Brookline Road, Cubles Drive, Foxcroft Road, Calkins Road, Hill Road, River Road, Summit Avenue and Gurley Road.

Drivers should expect travel delays in these areas. For more information, contact the Department of Public Works at (860) 691-4118.
