YOUR 2015 schedules
We interrupt our offseason seclusion to let YOU know that the 2015 high school football schedules have been released so that we can all lovingly gaze at them.
Said schedules are posted at CIACSports.com, but we’re going to make it easier for YOU by posting links to all ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY THREE teams.
We have to wait another NINTY ONE DAZE for our luscious new high school to begin (Sept. 11), so we have to find worthwhile distractions until then, preferably indoors because summer stinks, what, with the heat and the humidity making existence miserable and forcing you to take shelter in the local grocery freezer.
Locally, one can enjoy the gritty, never-say-die Connecticut Sun. One can also find many football games posted at your local video-sharing server.
The Canadian version of the football starts in 13 daze and is well worth the time for any pigskin degenerate. The CFL season starts at Montreal (BOO) on June 25 when it plays host to the Ottawa REDBLACKS. They’re really called the REDBLACKS — that’s not us being wacky.
The college season is 78 daze away and begins with a doozy — four-time, four-time, four-time, four-time Division I-AA champion North Dakota State at Montana.
(It’s still “Division I-AA” to us, dangit. The “FCS” designation can go to hell).
Montana, as you know, added some pizazz this offseason when it lured offensive sageBob Stitt away from the Colorado School of Mines. Dudes like Dana Holgorsen (West Virginia) and Kevin Sumlin (Texas A&M) have acknowledged his offensive smarts.
ESPN is scheduled to be at Missoula for the game and will beam it to you live.
The NFL season commences in 90 daze when Pittsburgh visits Gillette Foamy Stadium. And O’Brien Tech and Sheehan both officially kick off the high school football season with 6 p.m. home games.
You’ll find links to all of the schedules below this jibber-jabber.
No idea the next time we’ll post something here. All depends on our lucidity.
Lastly, rage, rage against the dying of that light, Ornette Coleman, Christopher Lee, and Dusty Rhodes.
