Mr. and Mrs. Michael Olsen, of Waterford, are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Lyon, to Brandon Gould, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Gould of Harrington, Maine.

Ms. Lyon, who graduated from Waterford High School in 1991 and Southern Connecticut State University in 1995, is the director of the Lymes' Senior Center in Old Lyme. Mr. Gould, a graduate of Woodstock Academy in 1988 and Johnson and Wales University in 1998, is a department manager at Lowe's Home Center in Waterford.

A September wedding is planned at Harkness Park in Waterford.
